Sad news was found in our email in-boxes today:

Lala.com will be shutting down on May 31st, 2010 and are not accepting any new users.  Lala.com was a FanMail favorite place to buy, browse and stream music. Lala was acquired by Apple in December of 2009 and all lala accounts will be moved over to iTunes accounts. Along with lala’s clients, we hope that iTunes will aquire some of Lala’s music and streaming sensibilities.

R.I.P. Lala.com. You will be missed.,
