Our client Langerado just keeps things rolling! Artist additions to their already packed festival keep being released. The festival will take place March 6-9 at Big Cypress Indian Reservation (yup same Big Cypress).
It’s no joke, the music industry is changing. People don’t buy their records in B&M establishments anymore, instead they are downloading high-quality digital audio by the terabyte… what is a band to do? Simple, launch into cyber-space! The Dandy Warhols have been on the cutting edge of musical production and they are taking that same sense of innovation into the commercial arena with their latest release, “…Earth To The Dandy Warhols…”. The Portland-based band cut out the middleman and released their album directly from their website. Not only that, but they took advantage of direct contact to establish a link with their loyal fan-base and improve their mailing-list. They offered a fan-club membership which included a digital download of the new album and a flesh-and-bone hard copy of the album sent to them in the mail.
The Dandys found a way to link the physical and digital realms and to reward their truest fans at the same time establishing a link to alert the fans about any new band developments.
